Julia Melim

Julia works as on-air talent and producer for Feed Your Soul Films, creating inspiring video content and online resources to feed your soul. After being on lockdown on a ship for 30 days at sea, she went into a journey inside of herself. Now she wants to help you find joy and passion by tapping into your soul. She is a tv host, actress, writer, producer and holistic business coach for women. She started her journey in New York City running live webinars for Forbes 500 companies and doing standup comedy at the Comic Strip.

 

Julia is the Brazilian producer for the Netflix series Ultimate Beastmaster executive produced by Creed and Rocky star Sylvester Stallone and Dave Broome (2016-2017 season). She also worked as the international tv host for AOL at Rock in Rio 2015. She made her directorial debut in the show Relationships, An Almost Romantic Comedy, in which she performed off-Broadway in a bicoastal production.
She has worked for RealTV Films covering red carpet events and film premieres and is well-known as the red carpet host for Hollywood TV in Los Angeles and New York City. Via Reuters’ digital distribution platform, Hollywood TV transmitted stories every day to our subscribers worldwide. Our footage was featured on Entertainment Tonight/The Insider, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, AP, Splash News, RTL (Germany), and many others. Hollywood TV is also the third most-watched channel on YouTube in the reporter category and expanded into multilingual YouTube platforms including Spanish, Italian, Japanese, and Hindi. The plans for coverage included on-camera interviews and b-roll to be edited into stories and distributed via YouTube and the Reuters’ digital platform. Among other film premieres I attended are Summit Entertainment’s film 50/50 with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen, Warner Bros.’ CRAZY STUPID LOVE with Ryan Gosling and Steve Carell, Sony Pictures’ THE SMURFS with Katy Perry, Neil Patrick Harris, George Lopez and Sofia Vergara, BAD TEACHER with Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake and Jason Segel, and KUNG FU PANDA 2 with Jack Black and Lucy Liu.
My coverage included the red carpet for MISSION IMPOSSIBLE – GHOST PROTOCOL, where I interviewed action star Tom Cruise and director Brad Bird, THE ADVENTURES OF TIN TIN, where I interviewed Academy Award winning directors Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, and THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, where I interviewed SAG Award winner actor Christopher Plummer. Just to tell you a little bit more about her work, she also covered the NY Fashion Week, NY Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival, the Sundance Film Festival, Donna Karan’s Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic with Hugh Jackman and Kathy Griffin, Prince Edward’s Gala Dinner, and the Broadway.com Awards with Darren Criss, and previously with Daniel Radcliffe, the NY City Ballet opening with Sarah Jessica Parker, and New York City’s world-famous New Year’s Eve celebration and ball drop ceremony with Ryan Seacrest.
She held her own 1-hour live show in the main theater with a live audience and recorded (both pre-recorded and live) segments for the Port & Shopping Channel portrayed on the ship’s internal channel representing luxury brands across the globe. Julia worked for Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises delivering public speaking engagements and filming a live talk show weekly for their onboard channel.
From 2018-2020, she has traveled the world on cruise ships as a port lecturer, speaking in front of audiences of up to 500 people about what to see and do on popular travel destinations in the Caribbean, Alaska and Europe, which included the French Riviera and the Greek Islands on their Mediterranean cruise itinerary. She has relocated to Las Vegas and is based on the West Coast. Her favorite Starbucks is Iced Chai Latte with a shot of espresso.
